Effect and analysis of basic life support training course in undergraduate medical students

Abstract:

Objective

The AHA basic life support course training mode provides cardiopulmonary resuscitation training for medical students with a certain medical background, and the effect of the training method in medical teaching was compared with traditional teaching methods.

Methods

Eighty medical students with medical background were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. Questionnaires were used to evaluate the training attitudes, knowledge and skills of the study subjects.

Results

The scores of attitude, knowledge and skills in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).

Conclusions

The AHA basic life support course training method can improve the first-aid skills of medical students and can be further applied in clinical medicine teaching.
